So Shania took to her website today to issue a personal message to her fans wherein she talks about how rough the past year has been (you know, the divorce), but how she’s trying to emotionally heal and keep it together. She goes on to say she’s “been inspired by my pain to write and use writing as a therapy through the suffering.” Not to make light of her situation (well, I mean not maliciously, OK), but her songs were already sort of depressing and break-upy. And that’s when her marriage was OK. So yeah, I’m a bit anxious to hear her new material now.
