Thule Trail is an updated version of the classic Oregon Trail where instead of playing the role of a pioneer family traveling from Missouri to Oregon, you’re taking a road trip from Chicago to a music festival in San Francisco. It’s a pretty faithful recreation too. They even have the hunting mini-game, except this time your hunting for tacos instead of wild game. Which is better, i think. Check it out, it’s a pretty sweet way to kill some time.

This is why I can’t stand the Williams sisters. There are worst things in the world than having to play each other in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament as opposed to the semis or finals. At least be thankful you’re healthy enough to play and that you’re playing well enough to make it to the quarters. There are 112 players on the women’s side alone who would give anything to have made it to the quarters. Sheesh. STFU.

Mygazines

You can read scans of all sorts of magazines for free at Mygazines. The scans are uploaded by other users of the site. Magazine publishers are understandably upset. I liked this bit from the press release announcing the site:

The mygazines concept is simple, essentially it allows its members to share magazines in the same manner a doctors’ office, law firm, libraries, and hair salons would with their clients every day.

That bout with mono at the start of the year has deeply negatively affected Roger’s qi. But I guess he is human afterall. Roger’s performance this year is equivalent to the (surreal) scenario of Michael Phelps going to Beijing and finishing 4th in everything.
